Sometimes we ask God for things that He knows we are not ready for, and then we get upset when we don’t get them after all. We need to remember that God has a ‘Master Plan’, and that means there is a time and place for everything in this world. If we hold fast to God’s Word each day, He will start to give us a glimpse of His plans, and steer us away from our earthly desires and toward His saving grace. 

As we accept this new relationship and blessing from God; it will undoubtedly bring us a renewed  peace, focus and reassurance that we are on the right path in life; and that our futile earthly desires can be washed away when we turn our focus to our Lord and savior.

Dear Lord God, Thank you for giving your followers a sustaining cup that fills us with an extraordinary strength and desire to do Your will; so that you alone may be glorified. Amen.
